We offer traditional Go Ju Ryu Karate for all walks of life, starting as young as 5 years old! All of our classes begin with warm-up exercises such as jumping jacks, push-ups and technique combinations, followed by a complete stretch from head-to-toe. Each student then practices a series of basic techniques, forms and self-defense drills that progress into far more advanced concepts and applications.

The Ancient Art of Kobudo refers to the weapon systems of Okinawan martial arts, often attributed to the adaptation of farming tools as self-defense weapons. Our program features training with Escrima Sticks (2' length), the Bo (6' staff), Sai (forked prongs), Jo (4' staff), Tong Fa (rice grinding tool), Kama (sickle), Eku (Oar) and the Katana (Japanese Long Sword)
Our 'Internal Martial Arts' program consists of Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Gung and Ba Gua. Similar to our Karate program, although much more relaxed, each class begins with an easy warm up and stretch. A Meditation proceeds into sets of techniques designed to balance and strengthen the student's mind and body by focusing on breathing with controlled, graceful motions.
